| CCTV News: JNG' s Technology Promotes Nearly Zero Emission |
On April 23, CCTV news reported that the sulfur recoverydevice with JNG¡¯s technology has promoted nearly zero emission. The overallenergy consumption has been reduced by about 40% compared with that undertraditional industrial technology, achieving carbon emission reduction whilecontrolling pollution.
In theprocess of tackling climate change, China has been acting as always. China hasproposed to achieve the peak of carbon dioxide emission by 2030 and carbonneutrality by 2060. This means that China, the world¡¯s largest developingcountry, will take the shortest time in global history to achieve carbon peakand carbon neutrality. As the major energy consumer and CO2 emitter, industrial enterprises have become a key areafor energy conservation and emission reduction. China¡¯s first sulfur recoverydevice with ammonia desulfurization technology has achieved nearly zeroemission. The overall energy consumption has been reduced by about 40% comparedwith that under traditional industrial technology, achieving carbon emissionreduction while controlling pollution. The sulfur recovery device mentioned in the news comesfrom JNG. Our ammonia-based desulfurization technology converts sulfur dioxidein tail gas into ammonium sulfate, and produces 23,000 tons of fertilizers peryear. It turns toxic and harmful hydrogen sulfide into fertilizer withoutproducing high-salinity wastewater.
JIAN Kaizhong, chairman of JNG, pointed out thatJNG has more than 100 domestic and foreign patents, and that all the standardsand specifications related to ammonia-based desulfurization in China have beencompiled and completed by JNG, covering all the core technologies ofammonia-based desulfurization. JNG¡¯s technology is green technology that cantruly realize a circular economy. It produces no secondary pollution, waste,sewage or carbon dioxide emission. The by-product of the technology is ammoniumsulfate fertilizer. Followingthe spirit of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party, JNGhas been promoting the conservation and recycling of energy resources,practicing green and low-carbon development, and building an ecologicalcivilization.
