From February 23rd to 24th, the National Leading Group Office for Carbon Peak & Carbon Neutralization held the "On-site Meeting for Promoting Carbon Peak Carbon Neutralization" in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The leaders of the Development and Reform Commission (Leading Group Office for Carbon Peak Carbon Neutralization) of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities specifically designated in the state plan and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps attended the meeting. Liu Dechun, Director of the Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection department of the National Development and Reform Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. During the meeting, the participants went to Ningbo Jiufeng Thermal Power Co., Ltd. to investigate the demonstration project of JNG¡¯s flue gas carbon capture and nitrogen fertilizer production technology. Zhang Jun, the chief engineer of JNG, reported the development results, research and development process, technical advantages and market prospects of the project technology to all leaders and experts. The leaders and experts who participated in the research fully affirmed the achievements of JNG in achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality and expressed their appreciation. Many provincial and municipal leaders and experts communicated with JNG¡¯s employees and invited JNG for further communications.
