| Bulgarian Delegation Visits JNG |
From August 22 to 25, a Bulgarian delegation led by Ivan Petkov, Vice President of the European Industrial University and Dean of its “Green Energy” Department, Kiril Temelkov, Energy Project Manager of Clever Synergy Investment Fund, Deyan Dyakov, Senior Construction Engineer of TPP-M2 coal-fired power plant, and Svetoslav Dinev, Senior Engineer of TPP-M2, made a special visit to our company. They conducted on-site inspections of our headquarters,technology subsidiary, the Ningbo Wanhua desulfurization project, and the industrialized facility for the “Flue Gas Carbon Capture with Nitrogen Fertilizer Co-Production Technology” at Ningbo Jiufeng. In the next step, both parties will discuss and sign agreements on building industrial demonstration units and large-scale industrial facilities for the “Flue Gas Carbon Capture with Nitrogen Fertilizer Co-Production Technology” in Bulgaria.
JNG Vice President Qi Lifang warmly welcomed prof. Ivan Petkov and his delegation, and introduced the development history of our company, with an elaboration on our technical advantages and project experience in ammonia-based desulfurization and decarbonization with nitrogen fertilizer production technology. Vice President Qi stated that JNG adheres to international operations, values global markets, and contributes wisdom and expertise to global low-carbon development. The delegation highly recognized our advanced technologies and project experience. Prof. Petkov noted that Bulgaria has limited natural resources but is rich in agricultural resources as a traditional agricultural country. Our company’s carbon capture with nitrogen fertilizer co-production technology, which turns waste into treasure, can play an important role in supporting sustainable development of agriculture. Lü Yaping, Vice President of JET USA, Li Haiqiang, JNG International Business Director, and Jiang Yaming, JNG Project Manager, also attended the meeting.
During the visit to our technology company, Cai Zixiang, Deputy General Manager of JNG, accompanied the delegation to tour the production workshop. JNG technology company is primarily specializes in the manufacturing of the core patented equipment for desulfurization tower internals. The delegation expressed high appreciation of our management model, high-efficiency production lines, and level of automation.
The delegation also visited the Ningbo Wanhua desulfurization project, which is the world’s first ammonia-based desulfurization ultra-low emission facility. Zhao Yunzeng, Deputy General Manager of Ningbo Wanhua Chemical Company, accompanied the delegation to visit the desulfurization area, ammonia storage tanks, ammonium sulfate post-treatment system, and the DCS control room where detailed explanations on operational conditions of the project, as well as the accident prevention and solutions were provided. The delegation spoke highly of JNG’s achievements in the field of ammonia-based desulfurization.
At the Ningbo Jiufeng “Flue Gas Carbon Capture with Nitrogen Fertilizer Co-Production Technology” industrial facility, Yuan Jianfu, General Manager of Jiufeng Thermal Power personally received the delegation. Yuan introduced the project’s operational status and the long-standing friendship established through over more than a decade of collaboration with our company. Zhang Jun, JNG Chief Engineer presented the project’s technical achievements, R&D process, technical advantages, and market prospects. The delegation affirmed that this technology is at the forefront of the world and represents a valuable undertaking for society and all humankind. Ji Xujun, Office Director of Jiufeng Thermal Power also joined the communication.
