From August 10th to 15th, José Carlos Polidoro, the strategic affairs advisor of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, and Miguel Leite, the advisor of the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy, on behalf of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the federal government, along with Jackson Brilhante, the advisor of the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Paparico Bacchi, a member of the State Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul, Luiz Carlos Folador, the mayor of Candiotá City, Fernando Luiz Zancan, the president of the Brazilian Sustainable Carbon Association, Fabio Tales, the chief operating officer of Ambar Energy Company, Amaral Danilo, the R&D manager of Ambar Energy Company, Marcelo Ferreira, the deputy director for Oil and Gas of the Energy Research Company, Fernanda Andreza, the analyst of the Energy Research Company, Jeferson Klein, the journalist of Brazilian Business News, and JNG’s Brazilian advisor Giuliano Capeletti, formed a 12-person delegation to specially visit our company. They conducted on-site inspections of our company's headquarters, technology company, and the carbon capture with carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer co-production demonstration facilities in Ningbo Jiufeng and Inner Mongolia Jianyuan.

This was Brazilian delegation’s second visit to our company after a two-year interval. They had a further in-depth exchange with our company regarding the ammonia-based desulfurization and decarbonization with carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer production technology (CCUF). They highly recognized our independently developed and globally leading CCUF technology and expressed a strong willingness to cooperate. As one of the world's four major grain-producing countries, the Brazilian side, based on its core needs such as energy transformation and agricultural development, expressed the hope to leverage our company's technological advantages to expand cooperation areas. Our technology provides a systematic solution for key issues such as sustainable energy development, ensuring food security, and promoting green circular economy in Brazil. It aims to build a cross-border cooperation bridge through technological innovation and demonstrate our company's leadership and responsibility in the field of carbon capture and application.

On August 11th, the Brazilian delegation visited the Jinyuan Coking Plant in Inner Mongolia to inspect our company's 300,000-ton/year carbon capture with co-production of 750,000-ton/year carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer demonstration project. At the project site, the general manager of our operation company, Zhu Yong, detailedly introduced the process flow, technical advantages and market prospects of the facility to the Brazilian delegation. They were greatly impressed and highly praised the advancement of our CCUF technology. At the technical exchange meeting, several government officials stated that Brazil is promoting policies to promote local fertilizer production and warmly welcomed our company to enter the Brazilian market, promising to provide convenient conditions and support. The representatives of Jinyuan Coking Plant accompanied the entire process and participated in the exchange.

On the morning of August 13th, the delegation visited the Ningbo Jiufeng Thermal Power Project to see our 10,000-ton/year carbon capture with co-production of 30,000-ton/year carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer demonstration facility that has already put into operation. Yuan Jianfu, Chairman of Jiufeng Thermal Power Project warmly welcomed the Brazilian guests. Luo Jing, Chairman of JNG China and manager Zhu Yong, among others, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit. They gave a detailed explanation of the operation process of our facility at the project site. Since the start of operation, it has been running stably and all indicators have met the design requirements. The Brazilian representatives were very excited about the continuous production of carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer, and expressed that our company's fertilizer could provide solutions for the local fertilizer shortage and reliance on imports. During the Jiufeng exchange meeting, Chiarman Yuan elaborated on the deep friendship established over the past ten years of cooperation with our company, emphasizing the forward-looking and stable nature of our company's CCUFC technology in the field of desulfurization and decarbonization. Given the huge demand for compound fertilizer in Brazil, these government representatives expressed strong interest in our technology.

The delegation returned to Nanjing that afternoon and conducted on-site inspections of our company's technology company. Chairman of JNG China, Luo Jing, and Chairman of Nanjing Technology Company, Cai Zixiang, among others, accompanied the delegation to visit the first and fourth production workshops. The delegation highly praised the equipment automation level, technological R&D capabilities, and high production efficiency of our company's production workshops.

On the morning of August 14th, the delegation arrived at our company headquarter in Nanjing for a meeting and exchange. Xu Junsheng, Chairman of JNG, Luo Jing, Chairman of JNG China, Jian Kaizhong, President of JNG China, Zhu Yong, General Manager of JNG Operation Company, Professor Deng Xiangyuan, the director of the Algae Food Development Institute of the Carbon Technology Application Research Institute, and Xu Ya, Chairman Xu’s Assistant attended this meeting. They introduced our CCUF technology, the significant cost reduction and efficiency improvement effects of the large-scale field trials, as well as the integration and application of CCUF technology in the microalgae industry to the Brazilian representatives. In the free chat session, both sides focused on discussing potential cooperation directions such as introducing our CCUF technology to Brazil and conducting local production of carbon-sulfur-based enhanced-efficiency fertilizer. Representatives from the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Energy and Mines, and Ambar Energy, respectively presented their prepared materials and introduced their respective fields. According to José Carlos Polidoro, the strategic affairs advisor of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, the annual fertilizer consumption in Brazil is 50 million tons, of which 90% is imported. He represented the Brazilian federal government and enthusiastically invited us to bring the CCUF technology from China to the Brazilian market and clearly stated that our technology can not only effectively address local carbon reduction issues but also help Brazil achieve the goal of domestic fertilizer production.

That afternoon, our company signed a cooperation MoU with Ambar Energy Company, clarifying the basic direction of the cooperation between the two parties. Fabio Tales, the chief operating officer of Ambar, stated that they have several coal-fired power plants in Brazil, so they are very much looking forward to our company organizing a technical team to conduct on-site research and investigation in Brazil, to gain a detailed understanding of the coal-fired boilers of each of Ambar Energy's power plants, and to tailor a comprehensive desulfurization and decarbonization solution for them, in order to promote the subsequent cooperation.

This six-day inspection activity provided Brazilian representatives with a deeper understanding of our company's CCUF technology. Government officials and leaders of energy companies all expressed a strong willingness to cooperate and enthusiastically invited us to conduct an inspection in Brazil to move forward to the next step. It could be believed that through this in-depth communication and signing of the MoU, JNG’s continuously developing CCUF technology will surely be applied and promoted in the energy and agriculture sectors in Brazil, laying a solid foundation for expanding our international market influence!
