| Yangzi Petrochemical' s new 2# Ultra-low Emission Desulfurization Tower Successfully Operates with Flue Gas |
The newly-built 2 # desulfurization tower unit of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company's boiler flue gas ultra-low emission project constructed by our company successfully passed the flue gas trial operation on May 16, 2019. The project adopts the EPC cooperation model. The project contains the construction of a new desulfurization tower with a height of 90 meters and a diameter of 11.5 meters, a new chloride ion control system and the modification of the existing ammonium sulfate post-treatment system. The contract was signed in July 2018 and Mechanical Completion was done on March 15, 2019. After comprehensive leak detection and water linkage commissioning by our project personnel with commissioning personnel and owners, the flue was finally connected and started the flue gas trial operation. Currently the device operates stably with all the data meets designed requirements.
Since the construction started, the Yangtze Petrochemical Project Department has actively coordinated all aspects of work and organized safe construction in accordance with company regulations and owner’s requirements. They have overcome difficulties such as complex construction sites, multiple cross operations and narrow space. The project department will continue to uphold the company's philosophy to ensure that the post-processing system and the chloride control system are completed according to the plan. |
