| Zhongke and Zhenhai Research Institute Visited JNG |
On January 17th and 18th, Sinopec Zhongke Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd (Zhongke) and its general contractor Zhenhai Research Institute visited JNG. He Xifu, Vice President, and Liu Dawei, Vice Director of the Design Institute, attended the technical meeting. The meeting was aimed at optimizing the design and reviewing the 3D models of Zhongke' s tail gas ammonia FGD project for its 3กม130,000 TPY sulfur units.
The Zhongke Refinery & Petrochemical Project was invested and established by China Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Kuwait Petroleum International Co., Ltd. and Kuwait Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in Guangdong province, where Kuwait' s oil resources are used to produce high value-added petrochemical products in urgent need for economic development. The project is located at the Donghaidao New Zone in the Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The original designed capacity is 15 million TPY and 1 million TPY for crude oil processing and ethylene production respectively. The total investment is 59.01198 billion RMB. The capacity of the complementary sulfur units is 3กม130,000 TPY and the tail gas FGD system is equipped with 3 absorbers. This is our largest sulfur tail gas FGD system currently under construction. The technical discussion further deepened the communication and cooperation between JNG, Zhongke and the Zhenhai Research Institute, laying a solid foundation for building the world-class FGD system later.
