On 13th July , the technical retrofit of the phase-I desulfurization unit of the public parts of SP Chemicals (Taixing) Co. Ltd., which was under the responsibility of JNG China, successfully passed the 168 Hours reliable test. The project is to build one ammonia desulfurization absorber with a diameter of 10.5m and a height of 90m. The flue gas into the desulfurization system is 700,000 Nm3/h. The output ammonium sulfate of the system is normal, the system runs stably and all the parameters meet the design requirements.
The construction of SP Chemicals Project started on 2nd June , 2017, and lasted for 13 months. During project execution , JNG China overcame various of problems, such as the southern rainy season in June and July, the hot weather in August, September and October, the limited construction area and the demolition of the original desulfurization absorber and the civil works, etc., However, staff of JNG adheres to the philosophy of 'Achieving Century Brand, Building Time-honored JNG', and strives to complete the project faster and better. The erection of this project completed on 31st January, 2018. The system smoothly passed 168 Hours reliability test on 13rd July, 2018. During the test, the average outlet SO2 content was 3.52 mg/Nm3, the average desulfurization efficiency was above 99%, and the average outlet dust content was 3.38mg/Nm3.
So far, the desulfurization unit is operating stably, the operating parameters are stable, and all performance parameters are better than the technical agreement requirements. The online real time data has been uploaded to local Environmental Protection agency , and the flue gas outlet parameters meet the latest ultra-low emission requirements in China. High construction efficiency and excellent desulfurization effect have been highly praised by the owners and local Environmental Protection Agency, demonstrating the strong technical strength of JNG once again. |
