Recently, in the project of the 1# and 2# ultra-low emission ammonia desulfurization of Ningbo Development Zone’s 3×130 t/h + 1×90 t/h CFB boilers, which was built and operated by JNG China, the 2# desulfurization unit passed the 168 Hours Reliability Test on 27th November with the joint efforts of the project department and the operation company. At the same time, 1# desulfurization system also formally started the reliable test on 28th November .
Two absorbers with stack on top (9 m diameter and 90 m height) were built in this project. The inlet duct was equipped with switch damper to achieve one in operation and one standby. After the completion, a single desulfurization unit can achieve the treatment capacity of inlet flue gas SO₂ 3000 mg/Nm³ and flue gas volume 500,000 Nm³/h.
JNG's top management paid great attention to this project, and the project department worked 24 hours per day. After 168 hours of hard work, the 2# desulfurization unit successfully completed the reliability test. All the indicators fully met the design requirements, reaching the ultra-low emission standard, ensuring that the outlet SO₂ concentration was below 35 mg/Nm³, and the dust concentration was below 5 mg/Nm³ for stable operation. JNG's ammonia desulfurization technology has been highly evaluated and praised by our client.
